Trouble Updating iota

After adding a new iota to your account, it may need a software update.  There are a couple of requirements that need to be met before the update can begin:

  • The Home Base needs to be paired to WiFi (green light on)
  • The Home Base needs to be near a window with the logo facing inside
  • The iota needs to be on the charger (red light will flash when charging or stay solid red when fully charged)
  • The iota needs to be in the same room as the Home Base

The update can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes, so you can get up and grab a nice cup of coffee while you wait!
